Bella Sorpresa - which means “Beautiful Surprise” - is the new Italian dining experience open just for the season at The Highlands of Harbor Springs. The four-season resort is offering its guests as well as the public a seat at the limited-time restaurant, being set up a few evenings each week inside the Country Club of Boyne.

Harbor Springs is such a beautiful area in the State of Michigan. It's a really nice waterfront community with plenty to keep you busy.

We're talking about art galleries, culinary attractions and the deepest freshwater harbor in the Great Lakes.

What's really great about this new pop-up restaurant in Harbor Springs is not only their classic Italian recipes, they also feature delicious modern dishes as well.

I think it's time to tease you by taking a peek at Bella Sorpresa's menu.

A peek at the menu: Porcini Vellutata, a velvety and elegant soup featuring porcini mushrooms; an herb-crusted 8-oz Bistecca filet for steak lovers; and Anatra, a duck breast with fondant potato and poached pears. Fresh pasta is also on the menu, along with crusty sourdough bread, a dessert list and an ample wine selection.
