All you have to say is pastries or cookies or even cakes and muffins, and I'll coming running for those delicious treats.

According to the Lansing State Journal, two residents from East Lansing started baking together more than a decade ago.  They started selling their treats and pastries at the Meridian Township Farmers Market two years ago.

The Lansing State Journal tells us about their vision, In KinD Bakery, opened in the storefront at 146 W. Grand River Avenue last month.  They serve up sweet and savory pastries and croissants, cookies, cakes, muffins, espresso and specialty coffee drinks.

Not only does In KinD Bakery serve up the goodies, they also donate baked goods and money to the Williamston Food Bank.  Customers can take an active role in the owners effort to give back every time they stop by.  (LSJ)

According to the Lansing State Journal, In KinD Bakery opened Feb. 6, selling out of items the first day within four hours.  They have several varieties of cookies, cheesecakes and mousse cakes, scones and cinnamon rolls.

The bakery also sells items from Sandy Ridge Farm in Owosso, Backwoods Coffee in Dansville, Park Lake Creamery in Bath, Kally Ann Art in Okemos and Gramsies Greetings in East Lansing.  (Lansing State Journal)

Okay now I know where I'm going for breakfast this weekend.  I was just thinking about my daughter who graduates from high school in just a few months.  My daughter loves everything on the menu and we plan on placing extra orders for her open house coming up this summer too.
