Pearl’s Deep Dive restaurant in downtown Royal Oak is officially open for business.

It's really hard to find a nice seafood restaurant with not only amazing food but one that has a unique vibe. Well, I think I may have found it with Pearl's Deep Dive restaurant which is located at 11 Mile and Main in downtown Royal Oak.

According to The Detroit News, Pearl’s Deep Dive is located below Pinky’s Rooftop bar and restaurant. The new 2,000-square-foot restaurant is going for that old school 1920's vibe which their achieving with their jazzy décor and classic menu.

Just looking at the photos you can tell it has a real warm, cozy, and intimate feel. I also like the fact that the restaurant can only hold 70 customers at a time.

Owner Adam Merkel:

Our team is excited to bring Pearl’s Deep Dive to the Royal Oak community, expanding our presence in the downtown area. Pearl’s has a uniquely fun, eclectic and old-soul vibe and, like our other concepts, is intended to draw guests regionally while maintaining a strong neighborhood vibe.

Now, let's talk about that menu and what they have to offer.

Let's start with my all-time favorite...oysters. Pearl's Deep Dive has East Coast and West Coast Oysters, Cajun Grilled Oysters and Oysters Rockefeller. Those oysters alone will make it worth my drive from Flint.

Their menu also features Lobster Dumplings, Smoking Shrimp Cocktail, Seared Sea Scallops, Lobster Mac and Cheese and so much. Also, if you're not really into seafood, you can get a good old fashion cheeseburger.

What are Pearl's Deep Dive Hours?

Pearl's Deep Dive is open Tuesday - Thursday from 4 pm to midnight and on Friday and Saturdays they're open from 4 pm to 1 am.

You can make reservations on their website. You'll definitely want to make a reservation in advance especially if you're travelling to get there from somewhere far away.
