New Michigan Album of Ambient Music Available on May 22

According to the Detroit Free Press, generations of outdoor lovers who've hiked, camped or picnicked here know that Michigan's 10 state parks come with their own unique sounds.

Now the folks at Pure Michigan are aiming to help visitors recapture those moments in an album of ambient music.

A collaboration with Detroit based Assemble Sound, Pure Sounds of Michigan features 10 tracks of field recordings from state parks accompanied by music.  The album is scheduled to be released on May 22.

The first track called Childhood Memories, was released in April on Sound Cloud, Google Play, Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music.  The track includes natural sound from Petoskey State Park.
