MSU Women’s Basketball Team Ready for NCAA Tournament

Don't you just love "March Madness?" The MSU Spartan Women's basketball team has Carolina in their minds. Monday's announcement of women's NCAA tournament field resulted in the Spartans earning a No. 5 seed and facing Hampton in Chapel Hill, N.C. in their opener Sunday as part of Stanford Regional. It marks the second time in program history MSU will open the NCAA tournament in Chapel Hill. The Spartans also started in Chapel Hill in 1997 and defeated Portland before losing to host North Carolina in overtime in their second-round game.
