Michigan’s 3 Most Recent “Official” Bigfoot Sightings: 2020-2022

Bigfoot sightings – ones that sound legitimate – are not as frequent as one may think. Sure, we hear a lot of claims about seeing some creature loping its way thru the woods.

Let’s face it: most of these claims are accompanied by video or images that are fuzzy and out of focus so you can’t really tell if it’s Uncle Ernie or Cousin Clem wearing a rented gorilla suit who “just happen�� to stroll in front of you and your phone or camera. Yup...that shore is convenient.

These phony claims pop up all the time – but ones that have no logical explanation are the ones that become officially reported and noted.

The three most recent bigfoot sightings occurred between 2020 & 2022.

1) Sanilac County, 2020:
“We were driving northbound on M-25, and my oldest son (15 yrs), seated next to me in the front, said "Oh my God" and stared straight ahead.....He finally spurted out "I just saw a bigfoot!".....He said he saw a large dark figure walking south through the woods. He says it was too dark in the canopy of the woods to see a face, but.....the arms were longer than its torso..... He estimates that it was around 8 feet tall(with) very broad shoulders.”

2) Menominee County, 2021:
“We were coyote hunting.....when I see 2 huge glowing eyes like a yellowish bright color I’ve never seen before and it was high enough off the ground. whatever it was, was hiding behind a tree looking around it.....Then it disappeared for about 10 seconds then popped up 10 yards to the right.....it crouched down like a person and it vanished.”

3) Mackinac County, 2022:
“We were staying on the southwest side of Big Manistique Lake in a lakeside cabin.....On 3 consecutive nights, shortly after I got outside I heard a distinct, very loud knock in the woods, often followed shortly after by more knocks, but farther off in the distance....I don’t know if it was a Bigfoot, trees cracking in the cold, or Bigfoot hunters...”

These were the most recent Michigan sightings as reported on the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization.

There is another piece of footage that shows something that the videographer calls a ‘bigfoot’, although - here we go again – it's more grainy, fuzzy footage that has been manipulated to go forward and reversed to make it last longer. You would think that with all the technology we currently have, SOMEone would at least have a crystal clear image. They don’t even bother to fake it with a clear image...they figure it’s safer to show an out-of-focus image so their hoax won’t be discovered.
