According to the Lansing State Journal, Michigan State's reign at No. 1 in college basketball is likely to last only one week, despite ranked teams falling all around the country.

Sunday, the MSU Spartans lost to Ohio State by a score of 80 to 64.  It was the first loss for the Spartans since losing to Duke on November 14.  MSU became the 15th team in the Associated Press Top 25 to lose this week.

It was a 20 point Ohio State lead not even 4 minutes into the final half.  It grew to 25 by the midpoint.  MSU got serenaded with "overrated" chants by the time the clock got inside 3 minutes.

MSU returns home for three games, facing Rutgers on Wednesday at 7 p.m.  Watch the game on the Big Ten Network.
