Another great game over the weekend from the MSU Spartan football team. The Michigan State Spartans are now 3 and 0 and haven't had that kind of a start to the football season since back in 2015.

On Saturday, MSU defeated Miami (Florida) by a score of 38 to 17.

According to the Detroit Free Press:

Thorne threw three of his four touchdowns in the second half, and Walker ran for 172 yards on 27 carries and scored on a short pass.

I'll tell you what makes this even better is the fact that now the MSU Spartan football team is officially ranked.

We're all happy for Mel Tucker and the entire team for not only being ranked, but making Spartan football very exciting to watch this season.

Here's what mlive.com had to say:

Following a 38-17 upset win at then-No. 24 Miami on Saturday, the Spartans (3-0) checked in at No. 20 in the AP rankings and No. 21 in the Coaches Poll, which were both released Sunday afternoon. It's the first time they've been ranked in second-year coach Mel Tucker's tenure.

You can really tell that Mel Tucker puts a lot of hard work into coaching his MSU Spartan football team because once the boys hit the football field, you just know the Spartans are in it to win it!.

So now it's game four this Saturday at MSU's Spartan Stadium against a Big 10 team, Nebraska. Win or lose, you know it's going to be a fun game to watch.

Mlive.com also adds:

The last time the Spartans were ranked was almost midway through 2019 season when they were 4-1 and ranked 23rd in Coaches Poll and 25th by the AP.

GO GREEN! GO WHITE!
