Michigan State Needs to Win Two Football Games to Become Bowl Eligible
The bottom line for the Michigan State football team is this, they need to win at least two of their last three regular season football games just to have a shot at any bowl game.
It's been a very rough season for the Spartans football team to say the least, and now with eight players suspended after that big ordeal down in Ann Arbor, we're just not sure what's going to happen on any given football field.
According to mlive.com:
After dropping four straight games by double digits, Michigan State has won two of the last three. The Spartans pulled out a 34-28 double-overtime win against Wisconsin on Oct. 15 and, after a 29-7 loss at undefeated Michigan, won 23-15 at then-No. 14 Illinois last week for their biggest victory of the season under coach Mel Tucker.
Next game for Michigan State's football team is against Rutgers on Saturday, November 13, with a 12 noon kickoff time.
This should be an interesting game considering that both teams are 4-5 for the season. Regardless, it would be nice to watch MSU win this one, and just one more to be bowl eligible.
So how does quarterback Peyton Thorne feel about his football team? (Mlive.com)
“I think we have a unique team and a group of really good guys because I haven’t found myself or see other guys having to force guys to work hard or force guys to show up with a good attitude,” Thorne said. “Guys show up, we know what the deal was, there was no changing it, there’s no dang this stinks and let’s go start crying. It is what it is so you’ve got to accept that for what it is and move forward and do the best we can with the scenario that we had.”
