There is nothing like watching a great rivalry game, especially when it comes to Michigan State taking on Michigan for the number one position in the Big Ten.

There wasn't one thing that happened Sunday at Crisler Center that wasn't good for MSU to see.  Michigan State's defense was absolutely excellent.   Michigan State defeated Michigan by a score of 77 to 70.

And can we talk about Cassius Winston?  Winston locked up the Big Ten Player of the Year award and perhaps jumped on some first team All America ballots with the best performance of his career to date.

In 40 minutes of play on Sunday, Cassius Winston scored 27 points, 13 made free throws on 14 attempts, eight assists, three turnovers and two steals.   For more about this very exciting win over Michigan, please click here on Lansing State Journal.
