Michigan State Basketball Gearing Up for Their Regular Season
Wait a minute. I'm still focused on Michigan State's winning football season. It's not only just the MSU football team, now it's the start of MSU's basketball season coached by the one and only Tom Izzo.
I guess I can handle two sports at a time. Before we talk basketball, let me just mention that MSU's football team is 8-0 and going for their 9th win this weekend as the Spartans take on Purdue. Will we end up 9-0, or will it be our 1st loss? I guess we'll find out.
The Spartans just finished their preseason by beating Grand Valley State at the Breslin Center by a score of 83-60. I always like to keep up with MSU's basketball team to see who's new on the team and who's coming back.
According to mlive.com:
The next time we see Michigan State will be in Madison Square Garden, where it faces No. 3 Kanas on Tuesday in the Champions Classic. The Spartans will head into those games after two lopsided exhibition wins over Division 2 competition; they also beat Ferris State last week.
I always look forward to the start of MSU's basketball season because of two reasons:
1. I love MSU basketball.
2. I love going to home games at the Breslin Center in East Lansing.
I went to a home basketball game about three years ago and had the time of my life. I took my wife to the game where we had seats in the second row, which was very close to the MSU basketball team and coach Tom Izzo.
All said and done, we would like to see MSU's basketball team have an amazing season which I'm sure they will. GO GREEN! GO WHITE!
