This fun filled event in the heart of Detroit will be surrounded by some of the tallest skyscrapers around.

According to mlive.com:

Presented by Bedrock Detroit, the winter Midway will also feature an arcade, food and beverages, artwork and photos with Santa Claus. Entry is free along with free play at the Arctic Slide and Hockey-Putt. Winter Bumper Cars are $5 per session and arcade games range between $.50-$3.00 per play.

This sounds like an absolute blast and I'm quite sure it will draw the big crowds. People need a reason to get out and have some fun and this event has fun written all over it.

I personally would like to play hockey putt putt. I love playing regular putt putt, but I'm not sure how this game works. Here's what mlive.com has to say:

Hockey Putt-Putt, also operated by Come Play Detroit, will not feature golf clubs, but instead, hockey sticks to move a puck along the 9-hole course to score goals.

I guess I'll need to brush up on my hockey stick skills, so I can do well playing this new game at the Monroe Street Midway.

This event will also feature lots of delicious food including hamburgers, mac and cheese bites, chicken sandwiches, and so much more.

And to top it all off, Santa Claus will make an appearance on Thursdays and Fridays from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., along with Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 4 p.m.
