I can hardly wait for this concert. This Friday Dec. 9, two great bands well known for many hit songs from the '80s, will perform live on stage at Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort.

Who are these two legendary bands? Night Ranger and the one and only Loverboy, featuring Mike Reno on vocals.

I've been waiting for this concert for quite some now, and it's finally going to happen this Friday in Mount Pleasant, Michigan.

Loverboy is one of my all time favorite bands and this band has had many very familiar hit songs that we've all heard on the radio countless times.

According to soaringeaglecasino.com:

With their trademark red leather pants, bandannas, big rock sound and high-energy live shows, LOVERBOY has sold more than 10 million albums, earning four multi-platinum plaques, including the four-million-selling Get Lucky, and a trio of double-platinum releases in their self-titled 1980 debut, 1983’s Keep It Up and 1985’s Lovin’ Every Minute of It. Their string of hits includes, in addition to the anthem “Working for the Weekend,” such arena rock staples as “Lovin’ Every Minute of It,” “This Could Be the Night,” “Hot Girls in Love,” “The Kid is Hot Tonite,” “Notorious”, “Turn Me Loose,” “When It’s Over,” “Heaven In Your Eyes” and “Queen of the Broken Hearts.”

One of my all time favorite Loverboy songs, "Turn me Loose."

Also performing on the same night as Loverboy, Night Ranger!  Another great '80s band that formed back in 1979 and gained popularity during the 1980s with great songs including one of their biggest hit songs, "Sister Christian."

I grew up listening to Loverboy and Night Ranger back in the '80s and we all loved their music back then, now we get the chance to relive those memories Friday night at Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort.
