Local Church Pays Off Others Debts
A local church as done something amazing that will change the lives of those they have helped.
Northpointe Community Church in Dewitt paid off more than 38 hundred local families medical debts. The church did this in partnership for the non-profit, RIP medical debt.
Now families in Clinton County, Grand Ledge and Laingsburg will have a clean slate thanks to the church and the non-profit.
Pastor Rick Ruble said that when they began discussing the idea, it became clear that they had the ability and the means to make this happen. The Pastor said that Northpointe is a church filled with people committed to making a difference in the community.
The total amount the church will spend is over 3.5 million dollars. The families who will receive the financial help will be notified in early December.
