According to WILX-News 10, Your Breaking News and Weather Authority, one person has died in Michigan from the listeria outbreak.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said that eight people are reported to be infected with listeria in four states.

The patients all reported eating different types of meats and cheeses from deli counters at different stores, which is why health officials haven't named any store or deli products that may have spread the bacteria.

The CDC is not telling anyone to stop eating food prepared at deli's either.  The CDC says symptoms of listeria can be different depending on the person and the part of the body its affecting.
