I've been waiting for a very long time to see the Eagles in concert and now my wait will finally come to an end this Thursday, March 24.

The Eagles will perform live at 8 p.m. at Little Caesars Arena in the Detroit area. I've been listening to the Eagle ever since I was in high school.

They've always been one of my favorite groups and now my wife and i will see the Eagles on stage, live, March 24.

Do you remember the Eagles very first hit song? Let's go back to June 24, 1972 and take a listen:

Take It Easy was the very first hit song from the Eagles back in 1972. Talk about a catchy tune that's great to sing along with.

Over the years the Eagles have had five number one hit songs:

* Best of My Love

* One of These Nights

* New Kid in Town

*  Hotel California

* Heartache Tonight

Even though I love everyone of their number one hit songs, I would have to say that Hotel California is my all time favorite Eagles song. Check out the video from 1977:

The Eagles have had six number one albums, six Grammy Awards and five American Music Awards. The Eagles are well known for being one of the most successful musical groups of the 1970's in North America.

If anyone else is going to see the Eagles on Thursday night, be prepared for a great night of music.

Not only will they be singing all of our favorite Eagles songs, they'll most likely perform most of the music from their "Hotel California" album,

Let me leave you with one more Eagles song from 1975. I used to play this song all the time when I was the DJ at United Skates of America here in Lansing. Enjoy "One of These Nights."
