Lansing Symphony Orchestra Performs Saturday at Wharton Center

When it comes to musicals, how do you decide which songs are the top hits?  The Lansing Symphony Orchestra decided it would ask its audience and did so throughout the season over emails and social media.

Saturday night, "LSO Broadway by Request" will be held at the Wharton Center in East Lansing starting at 8 p.m.

The result of the surveys is a mix of Broadway songs that could be termed the "new" classics, songs that have become favorites over the past 20 years, though a few Golden Age classics still made the list.
