Lansing Secretary of State Office Closed Due to Gun Fire
According to the Lansing State Journal, a bullet aimed at a man standing outside the Lansing Secretary of State office went through the office's window just after 11 a.m. Monday.
At the time the shot was fired, 13 staff members and 40 customers were in the branch. A staff member locked the door and rushed customers behind the desks and into the back hallway after the shot was fired.
Police believe the suspect and the person who was shot at have some sort of relationship.
