Lansing Community College Rolls Out New Changes This Fall
Lansing Community College students will pay a few dollars more in tuition this fall as the college rolls out changes to some of its most popular courses.
Trustees gave their unanimous support Monday night to a $113 million 2019 budget proposal that includes a 1.9% tuition increase for the upcoming 2018-19 school year. That amounts to an extra $2 per billing hour for in-district students.
According to the Lansing State Journal, LCC students who live within the boundaries of 15 neighboring school districts will pay $105 per billing hour, about $1,260 in tuition for a 12-credit semester.
Despite the increase, Lansing Community College's in-district rate is still lower than average among its peers in the state.
