Lansing Area Fourth of July Events

Fourth of July falls on a Thursday this year, which means firework shows and community events will take place throughout the week and weekend.

The city of Lansing will kickoff its parade at 11 a.m. at the Capital Loop.  At Adado Riverfront Park the celebration starts at 8 p.m. with a patriotic performance by the Lansing Concert Band.

Immediately following the concert, the City of Lansing will start its fireworks show.  Individual fireworks will not be allowed in the park.

Delta Township's fireworks display will be held at Sharp Park on July 3.  Lawn chairs, blankets, and mosquito repellent are highly recommended.
