According to the Lansing State Journal, wrestling has made a comeback in Lansing.  Capital City Pro Wrestling is a series of events that feature up to 12 wrestlers.

Four men with ties to the Lansing area have created the American Lucha Libre wrestling organization.  It has plans to hold at least one event each month in the city.

Their first event, called Capital Pro Wrestling was held June 22 at the Fledge, 1300 Eureka St., and drew about 200 people.

The next event will take place August 24 at the Fledge, a building that housed a former church for about 50 years.

A third event is expected to be held in September during the Michigan Chicken Wing Festival at Adado Riverfront Park.
