Jean Jean Vintage Now Open in REO Town

In the past eight years, antique jewelry store owner, Emily Duffelmeyer, has cultivated a collection of colorful Czech glass jewelry, Victorian lockets and art deco engagement rings.

After nearly a decade of selling vintage and antique jewelry on line, she opened her first brick-and-mortar space in REO Town last week.

The name of the shop, Jean Jean Vintage, is a nod to the middle name she and her mother share.  It was also her childhood nickname from her late father.

Duffelmeyer wants this to be a place where people can come to cultivate their interest.  A lot of people around here are interested in antiques and history.  The Lansing State Journal has more.
