From Lansing to Potterville

Back in December 2024, we learned that a restaurant had plans to move from its Lansing location to a new spot in Potterville. Now, we know that restaurant has officially reopened its doors.

Originally, Mexico 2 GO! was located on Lansing's west side. But, after serving delicious food to Lansing for over 30 years, they made the move to Potterville.

The first official open day in Potterville was Thursday, June 5.

Mexico 2 GO! teased a new menu back in May.

If you’ve been patiently waiting—and maybe even drooling—for the last six months, a trip to Potterville may be in order to satiate yourself and see what's on the menu.

Besides Mexico 2 GO! changing locations, the Lansing restaurant scene has seen a lot of shake ups recently.

Lansing’s Restaurant Shake-Ups

In the last six months, we've seen over a dozen different eateries open. Places like The Morning Post: A Spirited Breakfast and I Heart Mac and Cheese and More in East Lansing, 7 Brew and Panda Express in south Lansing, and plenty more.

However, there have also been a fair share of closures. Places like Aldaco's Taco Bar on the south side, Slice by Saddleback on the west side, and SaltRock Brewing CO, which closed after less than a year open.
