Sure, you've got places like the Smithsonian Institution, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, and plenty of other big-name museums across the nation, all home to spectacular art. However, neither of those made the list as one of USA Today's 'best'. But one Michigan Museum of Art did.

Detroit Institute of Arts Named 'Best Art Museum' in the Country

For the second year in a row, the Detroit Institute of Arts (DIA) has been named the 'best art museum' in the country, beating out museums in places like California and Pennsylvania.

And, as you can see from their Facebook post, the DIA is pretty excited about winning this accolade two years running.

If you take time to visit the Detroit Institute of Arts, that's not the only 'best' thing you can enjoy in Detroit.

USA Today and 10best.com named Detroit International RiverWalk in Detroit as the 'best riverwalk in the country' in 2023. So all it takes is a visit to Detroit to enjoy two of the best things in the country!
