The rivalry game is set for Saturday night in East Lansing. The #2 Michigan Wolverines come to Spartan Stadium to take on the MSU Spartans. The weather is going to be perfect for football. The weather will not be perfect for all football fans. If you want to stay warm and dry, visit these 9 East Lansing area bars to watch the game.

There's always a heightened "buzz" in the air anytime the Wolverines come to town. For the most part fans get along. Whenever I've tailgated for the "big game" the U of M fans shared food and beverage and some laughs too. It should be the same kind of vibe at the local establishments too.

It seems to me that if you go anwhere south of Holt Road on US127 there might be more U of M fans than MSU fans. Needless to say, we all have friends that are fans of both schools. The bragging rights for this game only last a year. Getting together with your rival pals at a local bar will be a lot of fun and you'll stay dry. Also, you won't have to wait too long in the lines at the bathroom. Spartan Stadium can be brutal on your bladder.

Places like Cruchy's, Buffalo Wild Wings, Reno's East, Pizza House, Nuthouse, Dagwood's, Reno's North, Art's Pub and Harrison Roadhouse are fun places to watch the game and you'll have your choice of awesom food, beverages, Keno and playing pool. If it's a blowout, it will be nice to have a pool table to distract from the loss.
