Worst Fast Food Chains in America? They’re All in Michigan!
Let's face it, we have all grown up on fast food. The American lifestyle has changed so much that fast food has become a mainstay of our lives. We go on a trip, grab some fast food. Don't feel like cooking tonight, grab fast food. Of course, we all have our favorites.
We also know we're not exactly eating very healthy food. Case in point, the American waist line is seriously growing.
So, what are we grabbing for food, anyway? How does it rate, and is one place better than another?
A recent study by Yahoo Finance came out with a list of the worst fast food joints in American. According to Yahoo Finance, they utilized Reddit for their findings. Some are surprising, some not so, but the number one worst fast food restaurant in the U.S. has 23 locations in Michigan and one is here in Grand Rapids.
5. Del Taco
Del Taco isn't here in West Michigan but has three locations in the Detroit area. They for sure serve Tacos, but the have typical American fare as well. However, Reddit users weren't having it. So it comes in at number five.
4. KFC
With more than 24,000 restaurants in the U.S. and the world, they certainly one of the largest chains in the world. But, again, Reddit users shared disappointing experiences at KFC.
3. Subway
A large number of Redditors pointed out that the quality of food at Subway is declining. Some Redditors said that their submarine sandwiches, famously known as subs, are overpriced for the quality you’re getting.
2. Burger King
The main dislike of Redditors were very disappointed in the food at Burger King. They said the food quality is really declining.
And, survey says the Number 1 Worst Fast Food Chain in American and Michigan is.....
1. Long John Silvers
A large number of Reddit contributors complained about the food quality and customer service to make Long John Silvers the worst fast food chain in America, and Michigan!
Hey, don't forget the ratings are only based on opinions. I've stopped at all of these spots, except for Del Taco, and I've enjoyed a quick sandwich or some chicken, so this survey, or any other, is certainly very subjective.
