An annual Mackinac Bridge Walk is held every Labor Day where two lanes of traffic are closed and 50-80,000 people walk together over the bridge.
I've never done the bridge walk but It sure does look fun.
Now if you want to see the Mackinac Bridge but don't want to take the long drive up north you can see a mini version right here in Michigan.
