9 Disgusting Things Inside Every House In Michigan
Until COVID-19 made me think just how many different germs I could be collecting on any given day, I never really thought about all the different things a person touches just going through their daily lives that might be a cesspool for bacteria. It's pretty nasty when you think about it.
While COVID isn't gone (I just suffered through it last week), germs have been around since Day 1 and are still everywhere. They're an invisible threat that Michiganders don't think about. Ignorance is bliss, after all.
However, it may be time to get those disinfectant wipes out as many items in your house are an inevitable menace that probably hasn't been cleaned in quite some time, if ever.
The Nasty Things In Your Home
To get an idea of what items you should look out for, I did some scouring around the internet on sites like WebMD and USA Today to make a general list of what items you should be wary of, especially with flu season right around the corner. Considering how cold it can get here each winter, we Michiganders already have enough on our plates.
Before we get into the list, it's important to note there is a very easy way to stay healthy and lower the spread of germs: washing your hands. 20 seconds of washing with soap will severely lower the spread of germs.
