Jase Bowen is a kid from Toledo Central Catholic High School. Next year he'll be playing Division 1 college football as a wide receiver for Michigan State. But right now he's finishing up his high school baseball career as a shortstop. Because, according to the Spartan site on 24/7Sports.com,  next year he'll also be playing baseball for the Spartans.

Both sports - just like Kirk Gibson did when he played for Michigan State. Kirk could've played football professionally, but (obviously) decided to stick with baseball.

We'll see how this works out for Jase. He's a three-star football prospect as a wide receiver. And he's ranked as the #1 shortstop prospect and #5 OVERALL in all of Ohio. He's going to be busy next year.

Might wanna keep an eye on him. Here's the story.
