A Look Inside the UFO House in Dewitt Township, Lansing

Even though the house has been around for thirty years, there were many in the area who never even knew it was there.

Tucked away out of sight from the main road, this UFO-shaped house was built in 1994 by Bob Clark, who did not intend for it to look like a flying saucer.....he had just always wanted to live in a round house.

Even so, some of Clark’s friends said he was indeed interested in aliens, and believed it was that interest that inspired the architecture of the house.

Clark passed away at age 85 on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2022 and it took six months for the house to go on the market; once it did, realtors’ phones were flooded with calls to see it. Some because they were interested in purchasing, others because they just wanted to see what the inside looked like.

The outside had been neglected ever since Clark passed away, and vines were beginning to encompass the house.
