A new survey is out, and it lists the best cities in the U.S. to visit for Christmas.

Of course Frankenmuth made the list. It is so beautiful there this time of the year, even our Vice President Mike Pence made a stop there. He went to Zender's  for a chicken dinner and then went to Bronner's to see the Christmas wonderland.

Coming in at number 2 on the Best City to visit for Christmas list, is The North Pole Alaska. That is where Santa Claus house is.

The North Pole Alaska is 13 miles south of Fairbanks. It is a magical place. You can buy everything Christmas there, and Santa will even send out letters to good boys and girls with a post mark from the North Pole.

While on vacation this past summer in Alaska, my husband and I got to go to The Santa Claus House, and who did we run into? Santa Claus himself. Santa was a bit on the slim side, but he assured us that Mrs. Claus was already working on fattening him up in time for Christmas.

Santa also wanted me to wish everyone in Mid Michigan a very Merry Christmas, and if you have been good, he will stop by Christmas Eve.
