Hot Chicken Kitchen Opens Friday in Washington Square

Are you ready for something new and delicious?  Hot Chicken Kitchen, Nashville Tennessee's spicy take on fried chicken, will open Friday in the Washington Square space formerly occupied by Tom & Chee.

The menu will revolve around unique, Nashville style fried chicken served on Tennessee toast, topped with pickles.

There are four different levels of spice, ranging from none to mild to traditional and not to hottest.  It is all coated with a breading unique to their brand.

If chicken isn't your thing, they offer other options including sandwiches and salads.  Sides include mac and cheese, collard greens, cornbread stuffing and a casserole of the day.

Hot Chicken Kitchen will be open daily beginning Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.  Here's more information from the Lansing State Journal.
