During the Governors stay at home order, I have been watching a lot, and I mean A LOT of HGTV.  I must say that when I heard that they were coming to Flint for the show House Hunters I was thrilled.

For the show's first time in 20 years, they are heading to Flint. Well to be totally honest they have already filmed the show, and chose Matt and Katie Bach to help them find a home after they sold their home near Grand Blanc. The episode was filmed months ago, and shows the couple and their realtor looking in the city of Flint for a new home for them and their family.

Flint has gotten a bad rap in the last few years with the horrible water crisis, high unemployment, and the city has ranked high for shootings and murder. That being said, I LOVE Flint. I grew up next door in Owosso, and for my family whenever there was a celebration or even just to shop we always went to Flint.  My Dad worked at Buick in Flint for over 30 years.

Flint is filled with some of the most beautiful homes and many are just waiting for someone to show them a little love. The Bach family said filming took about two weeks, and the couple is thrilled to be able to show the city they love to HGTV viewers across the country.

The House Hunters episode shot in Flint is scheduled to air on HGTV June 11th at 10pm and then again on June 12th. The episode has been dubbed "Investing in Flint."
