In the Upper Peninsula near Newberry there lies a cemetery with a story.

The legend/rumor/tale says that there is a grave of a little girl who died when she was only six years & six months old.

On the gravemarker is a purple bubble-shaped figure. Inside the shape, a picture of the girl was set…but when someone looks at it, it is NOT of the little girl…it’s a picture of how she would look if she were still alive. With the girl having died so many years ago, the picture will sometimes depict her as an old woman. The picture has aged just as the girl would have if she’d lived, just like in the novel, “The Picture of Dorian Gray”.

The cemetery is not hard to find, but the grave may be. This is one of those haunted legends that may be hard to prove…..below shows where the location is, so good luck.
