A quirky slider bar that's wildly popular in Detroit and serves a daily mystery meat is ready to open a Lansing location in the next three to four weeks.

Green Dot Stables, known for serving over 20 kinds of handmade sliders, anticipates hiring up to 100 people for its new 12,000 square foot restaurant in Lansing.  It's expected to accommodate up to 350 guests.

The new Green Dot Stables will open at 410 S. Clippert St., south of Michigan Avenue, where the former Whiskey Barrel Saloon operated.

Expect four to six sliders that will be considered Lansing area staples, including one paying homage to the area's love for olive burgers.  Here's more from the Lansing State Journal.
