According to the Lansing State Journal, Gravity Smokehouse & BBQ restaurant have officially opened their doors to the public today.

Here's something you should try at Gravity Smokehouse & BBQ, it's called "fatty" and it's served with coleslaw and macaroni and cheese.

The slow smoked brisket, turkey, chicken and pulled pork they've been serving up at festivals, has acquired a permanent address.

The eatery is located in a 1,000 square foot former Hot N' Now on Cedar Street that was vacant for six years before the duo bought it.  It offers a drive through, pick up counter and about a dozen dine in seats.

The owners started cooking together more than two decades ago.  They say opening a barbeque business together saved them both from desk jobs they no longer wanted.

Gravity became the business name, because they were pulled back to food well after they both chose different career paths.  Please click on the above link for more information.
