How would you feel if all of a sudden, someone in your neighborhood started firing shots for no apparent reason?

That's exactly what happened in Grand Haven on Tuesday afternoon at 1:40 p.m. Even the local police in Grand Haven were asking all residents to take immediate shelter in the basement of their own homes.

What is going on in this crazy world of ours? I absolutely hate what's going on with this out of control gun violence.

Residents in Grand Haven shouldn't have to fear for their lives just because a maniac decides to fire off a few rounds. All we do is shake our heads in disgust every time something like this happens. IT HAS TO STOP!

Here's what mlive.com had to say:

Authorities said a 40-year old woman in the home was in possession of a firearm and shots were reportedly fired. Two family members who were inside have since exited the residence.

I can't even imagine what local police had to go through just to apprehend this dangerous person.

As of 4 p.m. yesterday, the woman absolutely refused to come out of the house and surrender.

Mlive.com adds:

Critical Response Units and Crisis Negotiators were at the scene attempting to establish contact with the woman.

Even school bus drivers were asked to avoid the area where this whole debacle was taking place.

I can't even imagine something like this happening in my neighborhood. But it's a scary thought no matter how you look at it.

I haven't heard or seen what the end result was regarding this horrible incident. It could have ended one of two ways, handcuffed and straight to jail or the alternative.
