Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer announced on Thursday morning that she is relaxing the current stay at home order to allow the following:

Effective immediately, gatherings of up to 10 people or less are permitted.

Retail businesses across the state can reopen May 26, but for appointment only by customers. Bars and restaurants are still closed in most of the Lower Peninsula, except for take-out or carry-out only.

Auto showrooms and dealerships can reopen by appointment only on May 26.

Veterinary and non-emergency dental services can start up again on May 29.

Whitmer says that she will likely extend the current stay at home order beyond the May 28th deadline.  But she did not say when and how long she would extend it through. You can find more information at michigan.gov/coronavirus.
