Goat yoga will officially launch in mid-Michigan this weekend.  The Original Goat Yoga will open a satellite location in Williamston on Saturday.

Classes are $35 and consist of a 30-minute yoga session and an hour-long "goat happy hour."  Instructors from Our Space Yoga in Williamston will lead the classes.

Each class is limited to 25 people and is open to beginners.  The focus is to relax and laugh rather than perfect poses.

Goat yoga classes with four goats at Cannarile's farm will be held every Saturday afternoon through fall.  The idea for goat yoga is credited to Michigan native Lainey Morse, who currently lives on a farm outside Corvallis, Oregon.  Here's more from the Lansing State Journal.
