General Motors Supplier to Hire 79 People This Week

Here's great news, a General Motors supplier plans to hire 79 people this week at its Lansing plant.

Tenneco Inc., located at 4722 N. Grand River Ave., arranges exhaust assembly parts for the Lansing made Buick Enclave, Chevrolet Traverse and GMC Acadia.

The plant needs more workers as it takes over the final assembly of the parts from another Tenneco plant in Litchfield.

Tenneco will interview interested applicants from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday at the Capital Area Michigan Works! Lansing American Job center, located at 2110 S. Cedar St. in Lansing.  Click on Lansing State Journal for more information.
