Guess who's coming back to Michigan...

According to MLive, former Michigan State University quarterback, Connor Cook, was just signed to the Detroit Lions. Cook signed a reserve/future contract with the Lions just after the regular season ended.

Cook was signed to help out Lions quarter back, Matthew Stafford. However, Cook hasn't seen field play since he threw three interceptions to the Texans in 2016. Since then, he's played on practice teams for the Cincinnati Bengals and Carolina Panthers.

Cook started for three years while he was at MSU, had a hand in the Spartans getting a 34-5 record, and "finished as the school's all-time leader in touchdown passes and passing yards." Hopefully, Cook can bring some of those skills to the Detroit Lions and help lead to a winning season. But even with help, there's always a good chance they'll screw it up anyway... only time will tell. To get more information about the Lions signing, click here.
