Everything’s Coming Up Tater’s

You would be hard pressed to come up with a potato product that I don't like.  In fact, I was having one of those nonsense chats with a co-worker about.....if you could only eat one food for the rest of your life what would it be?  My immediate answer ..potato chips.

Yes my love of all things potatoes is a deep love.  The reason I bring this up, is that both Potato chips and french fries are in the news.  Okay, I  will explain.

McDonald’s, the beloved fast food giant is offering free french fries.   It works this way, download their app, and they pay one dollar for any food item and you will get free medium fries, every Friday for the rest of the year.   Well played McDonald's , Well played.

My favorite chip company, Lays, has come out with 8 new and very interesting flavours , and these will be available stating July 30th and will be on the market until September 23rd.    The interesting choices are   Cajun Spice, Deep Dish Pizza, Chile Con Queso,  Thai Sweet Chilli, Fried pickles with ranch, Chesapeake Bay Crab Spice, Pimento Cheese, and New England Lobster Roll.  You must admit those are some pretty interesting flavours.
