Desmond Howard let out his frustration after the Packers - Lions game on Monday Night Football. The college football analyst says there should be an investigation.

Yes, it has been a rough start for NFL Officials, but it seems to be getting worse. The proof was Monday nights game between the Lions and Packers.

As the officiating meltdown unfolded, Lions fans were (understandably) furious. ESPN analyst and former Lions and Packers player Desmond Howard took his frustration to another level. Howard wants the the NFL to launch an investigation into referee Clete Blakeman's crew, and he even suggested that the ref's bank accounts be checked.

Desmond Howard, a former Heisman Trophy winner, played for both the Packers and Lions during his NFL career. He fired off tweets after the game and after the replays showed calls against the Lions were bogus.

Howard was not the only voice speaking out. Former Lions player Barry Sanders could not believe what he was seeing (referring to the bad calls).

Warren Sharp tweeted:

There is nothing we can do about it now, but the anger and frustration with the Lions fans will be around for a while. I know that anger and frustration. As a Lions fan who was at the game Monday night, I am really having a hard time moving on. I have a feeling that the Vikings, who we play Sunday, will be feeling the brunt of our frustrations.
