Engine House #4, Jackson: Where's Its History?

Who has some background on the old Engine House #4 on West Avenue in Jackson?

There have been a good amount of inquiries online as to some background but nothing fruitful has been forthcoming. As for any info, all we can find so far are some comments made by others on Facebook:

“Used to belong to Mr____ from Jackson High but not sure anymore”
“His wife owns it”
“I know his son and I believe he is part owner in it too”
“Was a private residence”

All fine and dandy bot nobody.....NOBODY seems to have any historical tidbits on the old firehouse. So I am gonna ask right here and now: if anyone reading this can supply me with any decent amount of backstory on this great old building, it will be greatly appreciated. Any old photos too, if ya have any!
