If you haven't already, you're probably going to be hearing (and seeing) a lot of fireworks in your neighborhood this week. According to the state law, Michigan residents will be able to launch their personal fireworks from June 29th to July 4th and they can launch those fireworks until 11:45 pm each of those nights. (You can read more about that by clicking here.)

Since all of the local community fireworks displays have been cancelled this year due to the coronavirus pandemic, there's been a huge increase in fireworks purchases at pretty much all of the stores and tents that are selling fireworks this summer. So, since more and more people are going to be launching their own fireworks this year, I thought it might be fun to re-visit this post from a couple of summers ago regarding the different types of fireworks. Thanks again to Byron Fireworks Friends for posting this on their Facebook page, so that we can all know the different types of fireworks.

I have to say that my top five favorites in this chart would be the coconut, silver dragon, peony, timerain and the rings. How about you? Have a favorite?
