According to the AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety, only 44% of teenagers are getting their license within 12 months of the minimum age of licensing in their state, and about half are licensed before their 18th birthday.

So the question is, did your teen get a driver's license right away, or delay?  Two decades ago, two-thirds of teens were licensed by the time they turned 18.
