Dickey’s Barbecue Pit to Open First Eatery in Lansing

Who's ready for another restaurant to open their doors in the Greater Lansing area? How about Dickey's Barbecue Pit?

This new restaurant is planning to open its first eatery either this month or in November. Dickey's Barbecue Pit happens to be a franchise with over 500 locations.

According to the Lansing State Journal:

The eatery will open in a 2,000-square-foot storefront at 300 N. Clippert St. that previously was home to Frandor Deli, which closed in May 2020 after 38 years in business. Franchise owner Kevin Griffin, who lives in the Lansing area, said he chose the Frandor Shopping Center space for the restaurant because of the potential for customer traffic.

I don't know about you, but I love barbecue, and this new restaurant will serve up the some of the best barbecue around.

Dickey's Barbecue Pit is well known for smoked meats. And yes, we're talking about pork ribs, brisket, chicken, and all your barbecue favorites.

It will offer a full menu that includes mac and cheese, cabbage slaw, creamy spinach, and loaded baked potatoes. Individual meals, including meat, sides and a drink.

I love it when new restaurants open up. My wife and I always make it a point to check out all new restaurants just to see what's on the menu and how it's decorated inside.
