Michigan State Police Cold Case Files: Disappearance of Diana Lee Peckham

The Michigan State Police (MSP) recently launched cold-case webpages featuring several investigations organized by region, with more coming soon. MSP says it has roughly 200 open cold cases at any given time. Detectives selected the featured investigations with family approval, hoping to generate tips and remind loved ones that these cases haven't been forgotten.

Diana Peckham’s Disappearance in Baroda, Michigan

Diana Lee Peckham (Elmore) was 25 when she disappeared on July 20, 1976. Her husband discovered her missing shortly after midnight on July 21. Her personal belongings, however, remained inside their Baroda home.

A neighbor reported seeing a white 1969 Plymouth sedan there about 45 minutes earlier. The Peckhams didn't own a vehicle. Diana has never been seen or heard from again. The FBI's case listing says she was last seen wearing a blue shirt with a seagull image and cutoff shorts decorated with studs.
