There's no doubt about it, Detroit Tigers' Slugger Miguel Cabrera is one of the best batters in all of major league baseball.

Watching Miguel come to the plate during home games at Comerica Park is definitely something to see. He has a great swing and he's very exciting to watch at Tiger stadium.

Cabrera is just one home run away from hitting the 500 career home runs milestone. Can he do it? There's no doubt about it. The Tigers franchise don't pay him the big bucks for nothing, Miguel earns every penny of it.

Here's what mlive.com had to say:

Cabrera singled twice early in the game before launching No. 499 to left center field against Orioles starter Matt Harvey in the fifth inning. It was his 2,950th career hit and put him one shy of the 500 homers and 50 hits shy of the 3,000 mark, two milestones he has been chasing this summer.

Miguel Cabrera is a fan favorite and everyone loves him. He always smiling and waving to the crowd every time you go to a Detroit Tigers baseball game.

I want to make a small prediction if I may. Cabrera is on the verge of hitting his 500th career home run right?

On Friday, August 13, the staff from Townsquare Media is taking a bus provided by Dean Transportation, to a Detroit Tigers baseball game. My wife and I are going to that game with the rest of the staff on Friday.

So all of us here at TSM are hoping that the big man, Miguel Cabrera will hit his 500th career home run in front of the home town fans, including TSM employees, at Comerica Park. I'm not saying it will happen, but I have a good feeling about it!
