Now is the time to start recruiting baseball players for the Detroit Tigers baseball team. Would you consider the Detroit Tigers a really good baseball team at this point?

Probably not, but they are getting better and better all the time. This year the Tigers finished 3rd in the American League Central Division.

Next year we're hoping the Tigers can finish 2nd or 1st in their division. Can they do it? Absolutely with no doubt about it.

The Detroit Tigers now have a 40 man roster, thanks to Elvin Rodriguez, who happens to be a very good pitcher.

According to mlive.com:

The Tigers selected Rodriguez's contract on Sunday, the most notable among several procedural moves made by the club.

These are the kind of moves that will eventually make the Detroit Tigers a much better baseball team.

Management started rebuilding the Detroit Tigers team roughly 2 or 3 years ago. It's only a matter of time before it all comes together and the Tigers are back in the playoffs.

Mlive.com tells us:

The Tigers also reinstated catcher Jake Rogers and right-handed pitchers Spencer Turnbull and Rony Garcia from the 60-day injured list. Sunday was the deadline for doing so.

If you remember just last week, the Tigers paid just over $7 million for catcher Tucker Barnhart. This guy is one of the best catchers in all of baseball. He is a golden glove player.

All I can say is I'm a huge Detroit Tigers baseball fan and have about 15 Detroit Tiger shirts in my closet to prove it.

The last time I wrote an article about the Tigers, we were talking about how Miguel Cabrera would like to see Justin Verlander rejoin the Tigers somewhere down the road.

Someday we would all like to see the Detroit Tigers back in the World Series. It's just a matter of time!
